Once it is done, plug the dongle into it's new home, and give a few seconds for the driver to load the CSR tool.
When installing, just use the SETUP autorun, it will determine which driver set (32-bit or 64-bit) you need.

Install the software with the device UNPLUGGED from your computer. OK, up above, when I said ignore the driver CD with Windows 10? Ignore that suggestion to ignore. Score may bounce back to 5 if I can find a solution (which I will post here).Īdded later again, when I should be in bed: No luck yet getting the mic to work, either. This issue does not occur on my laptop's native BT transceiver, or my cell phone.
I've tried this using both the default Realtek CSR 8510 A10 driver in the Windows 10 database, a downloaded version from Softmedia, and the driver CD, and my Photive BTH3 can only play audio over the mono 8KHz "Hands-free" renderer, not the full 44.1KHz/48KHz stereo band the "Headphones" support. The microphone isn't always connected (happens with my laptop's integrated Bluetooth so it isn't an adapter issue) but aside from that every other BT device or function works brilliantly. Works great with my Photive BTH3 headset. I prefer to use the tools already built into Windows 10. I recommed this because the driver CD has a host of tack-on programs that get installed with the driver. Installed without the included CD in Windows 10, and it was set up and operating in seconds.
